Tall-ow Oil is a natural, animal-derived oil obtained from the rendering of beef or mutton fat. It consists primarily of triglycerides of fatty acids such as oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids. Tall-ow oil appears as a pale yellow to light brown semi-solid or liquid (depending on temperature) with a mild fatty odor.
