Bitumen Emulsion is a stable dispersion of fine bitumen droplets in water, produced using suitable emulsifying agents to enable easy handling, application, and mixing at relatively low temperatures. Unlike conventional hot-applied bitumen, bitumen emulsion can generally be applied without heating the bitumen to very high temperatures, making it convenient for road construction, maintenance, waterproofing, and various industrial applications.

Bitumen Emulsion provides excellent adhesion to aggregates and surfaces and can be formulated with different setting characteristics such as rapid-setting, medium-setting, or slow-setting grades according to application requirements. It is widely used for road surface treatment, tack coating, prime coating, slurry sealing, surface dressing, pothole repair, and maintenance of asphalt pavements.
