6 cSt base oil (also called VHVI-6) is a highly refined mineral (Group II/III) or synthetic-grade base oil produced through advanced processes like hydrocracking and hydroisomerization. It has a kinematic viscosity of 6 centistokes at 100C, making it a medium-viscosity base stock ideal for balanced lubrication performance.
It is characterized by:
